It is nice that there is a way to decock the Luger without dry firing it and possibly damaging the firing pin. The type 14 Nambu has a much more fragile firing pin and, as far as I know, no way to decock it but to dry fire it. I guess that is why they issued them with a spare firing pin. (Hopefully someone will tell me I am wrong and there is a way).
