Bob,
Do you know for a fact that this gun was reblued? The plum color is an effect which authentically shows up occasionally on salt-blued Mauser Lugers blued in a bath which is the wrong temperature or chemical composition. It would be a shame to remove the original finish due to a misunderstanding. --Dwight |
