Joe,
This pistol was manufactured by DWM in 1924, probably as a .30 cal. commercial, and converted to 9 mm for police service. It is similar to other m-block DWMs that were purchased for the Bautzen Schupo. Does it have a sear safety? Incidentally, is the mark S.P.Bn. or SP.Bn.? I'm no expert on Luger values. I recently purchased DWM 8185m all matching marked SP.Bn.669. along with two matched mags and a very nice police holster for just under $1500. I don't know how to break out the gun alone.
