Indeed, the main reason for the changeover from 7.65 para to 9mm was that many countries testing the luger were not satisfied about the stopping power of the first.
The 7.65 para or .30 luger is basically a shortened version of the 7.63 Borchardt round, which also formed the basis for the 7.63 Mauser round. |
