I bought 2 well used Luger mags a while back for $30 each. These are aluminum bottom mags with serial numbers, prefix ,and eagle 63 proofs on the base. The mags are coil spring style, and pretty much identical with old wooden base mags(excepting the base and only one retaining pin). I figured that these were mags made for pre war/early war Mauser Lugers.
Despite being pretty well used , these magazines work perfectly in my mismatched Mauser pistol freeing up my fxo mags for my other pistol. I was interested in finding out what era these mags were from, and who might have manufactured them? Thanx, Stevie. |
