I work in Northern VA, near Dulles Airport, and live in Winchester... where are you in relation to those locations. I would be happy to inspect your Luger one afternoon, or during my lunch hour, to see if I can determine what may be wrong... I haven't actively gunsmithed in decades, but if there is one gun I know inside and out mechanically, it is the Luger. ...and I don't charge anything... just glad to help out. Since it was your Dad that brought it back, I presume we are close in age...
