Default 1908 First issue just arrived today.

Just received today this 1908 first issue undated DWM.

Early serial number 8885 no suffix, Arsenal fitted hold open, All matching numbers. Unit marked 66.RMG.16

serial numbers in commercial style.

About 95% original blue and straw. Has a small dent in the side plate. Last two digits on the under side of the side plate.

I bought it in a local auction by postal bid, sight unseen!

I understand it was captured early in WW1 by a NZ soldier.

What do you think?

Complete with mag also MG marked, holster and spare mag.

Regards
Murray.
