Went shooting a few weeks ago with my new Kimber Gold Match - the â??good newâ?: I am impressed. Period. Not a single mis-feed, failure to eject, stovepipe â?? NOTHING. Even when mixing various ammo types within the same mag and double-tapping my way through. Simply excellent. The handling is excellent and the ejection is very consistent. So consistent, in fact â?? I put my empty range bag on the ground to catch most of the brass, and with the exception of the last shot from the mags â?? most of the brass actually landed in a 1â?? 6â? x 1â?? open range bag. Consistently. Amazing.

Accuracy. â??Out of the boxâ?, this is one accurate firearm. After sighting it in with 15-20 rounds at 15 yards â?? I moved back to 25 yards. With 230 gr LRN, it was throwing it into 3â? groups on a consistent basis, if I did my part. After about 200 rounds going downrange â?? and feeling pretty comfortable with the feel of the Kimber â?? I loaded up my target loads. Below is a â??50 ft Rapid Fire small boreâ? target â?? 10 shots at 25 yards from the bench.
