Post "shooting grips"

I decided recently to try and optain aftermarket grips to use when I shoot my Lugers--the original grips seemed a little fragile. I did get some very usable ones from a couple of sources. Both of these grips were very "full" and had the coarser checkering. After some fitting with a Dremmel tool and a file, the grips were on the guns and ready to go shooting. They worked well, and I wasn't worried about them getting damaged or having a "safety chip" re-occur. When I got home, I cleaned the guns and put the orignal grips back on (for display). I purchased one set of grips from Nurmrich, and the other from a company I found easily on an internet search (I can't remember the name right now). I was wondering if anyone else does this "shooting grips" thing.
