Strange letters on receiver

Hello Louis,

Could you tell us more about the luger on which these Q-Q markings appear...? Thats is what luger makers, what year, what model type, etc...

If appears (from the photo scan) that the area where the Q/Q is stamped may have had other markings that were "peened" away/down with a hammer. If we know more about your specific luger, we might be able to tell you what markings may have been there before they were replaced with the Q-Q stampings...
