Let me start by saying that I have bought and sold Luger parts on Ebay. But aside from the ridiculous prices now being paid I see a very bad thing happening. There is a dealer in military guns who is now parting out matching 1920 Commercials that look to be in very good shape! <img border="0" alt="[crying]" title="" src="graemlins/crying.gif" /> Why? Well I know why. A good condition matching shooter will bring $500-$600, but you break it up and suddenly you have $825.
Frame stripped $100 Upper and barrel $175 Toggle complete $175 Grips $100 Side plate $75 Misc. small parts $100 Magazine $100 Now I don't mind parting out a total mismatch, but I hate to see matching guns in any condition be broken up for the almighty dollar! ![]() The only silver lining I can see is that prices for 1920 Commercials will go up as more are scrapped. Heck, maybe some day they will start faking to 1920's? <img border="0" alt="[ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" />
