In my opinion, based upon my observations, this thing is a fake. The Simpson toggle is a different color than the other parts, but this might just be the lighting. Simpsons have E/6 proofs all over them, front of trigger guard, extractor, rear toggle, trigger, side plate grip screws--on and on. And lastly that serial # is made with an American stamp, the German # 1 looks exactly like the one I just typed, it has the foot on it so that it is not confused with the number 7 and even at that they additionally put a slash thru the 7. The right reciever has the crown RC for being an arsnal refinish but I am unable to identify those two oval proofs, have never seen them on a Simpson or anywhere else for that matter. What do you guys see that I missed, other than the straw or lack thereof?
