Hello everyone, I am new to this board but it seems like a great place here. I have found something that I understand is quite rare. It is the German wood box that holds 5 snail drum mags and spare ammo from WWI. This type box is pictured in, I think, Luger of the world. It has the "P." on the front and is in good shape. One problem is that the inside dividers have been removed. So while I have a photo of the inside from the book, it does not show enough detail to reproduce the missing parts. Does anyone have one of these to get better photos/dimensions from or know someone who would? Otherwise does anyone know George Machtellinckx's email address? Thanks in advance. I am looking forward to putting this back together. I was even consider making a few up if there was interest. The metal hardware would be the hard part. I wonder if these were originally for mp-18 gunners assistants?
