Hello,
According to Walter's research, and assuming that LP08 and P08 are numbered in sync, in the 1916 the range of serial number is 9233a up to 9908s; so one digit without suffix is quite odd. Still estimates the 1916 production in the range 203 to 2660b. As you know there is some misunderstanding between the Gortz and Walter serial range theory against Still one. In any case a one digit w/o suffix is odd in accordance to the Still Theory as well. But, you know, each day we learn something new :-) Ciao Mauro
