And just a mere $5000. At this rate I'm going to have to start collecting Jennings .22 POS pistols. Maybe I'll up grade to Raven .25s.

The mag pouch is bad and the grips look redone, but I am no authority on LP-08. Perhaps Keoki will weigh in...

Considering the wear on the pistol. There's no rubbing or noticable wear on the grips. And no appreciable scuffing or wear on the holster either. IMO,it looks too good, but, believe it or not. I've been wrong before. :D

All leather appears to be of South Asian origin. The pistol's in Minnesota which is also the haunts of a highly regarded Luger scoundrel. I wouldn't get too excited.

Hmm,
Selling something as a single-digit serial and not showing any pictures with the serial number in plain sight doesn't seem to be the brightest idea. |
Hello,
According to Walter's research, and assuming that LP08 and P08 are numbered in sync, in the 1916 the range of serial number is 9233a up to 9908s; so one digit without suffix is quite odd. Still estimates the 1916 production in the range 203 to 2660b. As you know there is some misunderstanding between the Gortz and Walter serial range theory against Still one. In any case a one digit w/o suffix is odd in accordance to the Still Theory as well. But, you know, each day we learn something new :-) Ciao Mauro |
