Rick, Simply beautiful!!! The S&W 52-1 and 52-2 are outstanding firearms - and I've had several, and all were simply excellent shooters. When S&W announced they were ceasing production, I picked up one of the last the local dealer was able to acquire. After many thousands of rounds, I finally sold it for almost as I paid for it when I got my first Colt Mid-Range. I agree - the WC firearms (either the Colt or the S&W) are getting tough to come by - and the prices keep going up... And they are terrific to shoot. There is something about shooting an accurized .38 WC automatic - no other automatic quite feels the same.... Also - John S. - you had a nickel plated Mid-Range??! And I was just kidding in my note about about the "Khrushchev Special"... Sheesssh - you were half-way home on that one..!!! ![]() Best to all...!!! |
