I recently saw this ad for a WW2 P.08 and, I don't believe that this is possible:
"German WW2 Luger for sale. All matching numbers & dated 1939, Original wood grips, BYF S/42 (Mauser) manufactured, Comes with 2 original WW2 aluminium bottomed mags." Isn't 1939 too early for the BYF ordnance code to be found on a pistol? I had an idea that this practice didn't start until 1941. There were no pictures but I have requested them from the seller. Any opinions would be welcome as I've never dealt with this particular seller before. |
