Kiwi User Join Date: Mar 2019 Location: Wrong side of the Delaware river Posts: 320 Thanks: 229 Thanked 456 Times in 180 Posts	Too much oil can bulge a barrel. This is more a smaller barrel like a .22 and a heavier oil such as for longer term storage. Before shooting I run a very light oil down the barrel (oiled patch), then a dry patch to remove excess.
