I’m really beginning to love buying shooter Lugers; it’s an adventure in weird.
Here is the gun: http://s295.photobucket.com/user/Kyr...0Reblue?sort=9 Gun was aggressively buffed prior to re-blue (nice bluing job!) and markings run faint to gone. Enough of the markings remain to assert: 1915 chamber date DWM toggle link Imperial firing proof on breech block Matching except for magazine, grips (un-numbered), some small parts (un-numbered), and the barrel (different military SN, w/barrel gauge). Gun has unrelieved sear, hold open added, front receiver ring has Artillery nibble, no rear sight on trailing toggle link. Dark bore, good rifling. This is going to be an interesting pistol to shoot.
