Gentlemen,
Well, dumb luck has presented me with a fine Luger I never thought I'd come across. I picked up a very nice matching byf 42 the other day for $990 because the shop owner did not realize what he had. So, now some newbie questions. fxo magazines were correct for my model. If I can find someone willing to part or trade for them what can I expect to pay in a cash transaction? My Luger is from the i-block (2070), can I find out the month it was made like one can with P.38's? I have read that the final block of byf production for Lugers was the n-block. Is this so? (This info was read from Jan Stills "1940 42, 41 42, byf 41 and byf 42 CODE PRODUCTION ESTIMATE AND DATA REQUEST") http://luger.gunboards.com/showthrea...2-and-byf-DATA Here is a link with some photos of my Luger: http://www.lugerforum.com/ Thanks Gents, Ez |
