Dan, It's extremely unfortunate that politicians will never have a rational intelligent discourse leading to meaningful results for a free America..even though there are enough facts out there to provide for that discussion. What IS likely to take place is a gob of feelgood directives/laws that will rob Americans of even more freedoms like the airport security we have been forced to endure for more than a decade. None of which will solve the problem. IF there is a solution to be found..

I just sat down in the leather shop this morning and I often have a small TV on as background noise..a predominant advertisement comes on with what I can only believe to be a horribly violent movie to be released Jan. 4th... Texas Chain Saw Massacre #3. The "Entertainment Industry" marches on with movies, vidio games and gansta rap that rub violence in the face of people who want it. People ask why didn't these things take place in the 40's & 50's but the answer to that question might be found in Hollywood. Hard to say but it's a thought. Technology like smart phones resulting in less social interaction might have a price.
