Default Mauser HSC and Browning 1922

As per someone's request, I looked at the HSC as well. While there, there was also a Browning 1922. Below are pics. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. For those that want to know, the HSC was $300 and the 1922 i believe was $200.

There is a nice Waffennamt mark on the HSC's trigger guard. WaA155?

What do the "L" and "R" marks on the Browning's butt mean?

BTW everyone; you guys were great in answering my last post on the Mauser 1934. It was greatly appreciated.
