Another new guy with an old Luger

Good evening,

My dad recently gave me a P-08 that he's had for about 30 years. He got it from a WW2 vet that was a friend of his back in the 80s. I always loved it since I am a WW2 buff, and we put a few rounds through it back then when he got it.

As far as I can tell, it is all original, matching numbered parts except for a single new spring that he had to put in it when he first got it. I think it was a trigger spring. The magazine doesn't match though. I have taken some pics of the markings and I was hoping that the experts here could give me some more info on what I have. I'd like to do some research and find out more about it, but there are so many variants and such that I wanted to start here.
