1917 arty...questions...

hello, new to the luger world and this forum. hoping i didnt screw my self in this deal... problems i have wiht this gun and my limited reading/knowledge

-barrell witness mark is not aligned
-dont see numbers on grips (external or do you remove em?)
-dont see number on wood bottom mag (where?)
-pitting etc is not as pretty as some
-last but not least, hammer(?) will not fall when trigger is pulled, previous owner said he had a failure of some sort and then disassembled and couldnt get it back together.

i reinstalled the side plate, and put that double moon shaped thing in the correct spot i believe.

btw, traded this for a 1911 that i assembled. foster frame, sarco parts kit

i will post better pics witha real camera tomorrow. it died tonight in process while i was trying to get close ups of the barrel id.

oh, everyhing appears to match. i shall read/research/learn more tomorrow...
