Question 42-42 Luger

In “The Mauser Parabellum 1930-1946” book Page 261, there is a photo of a 42-42 Luger #8385d, a variation that I never met in any of my books.
Is this one time Luger or there were more of this variation? In page 260 of the same book there is the CV (Collector Variations ) of the 42-byf lugers, but the 42-42 Luger is not mentioned. Thanks.
Alf.
