ggordon New User Join Date: Feb 2010 Posts: 1 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts	Serial number I just purchased a Luger. It was manufactured by Mauser and has the S/42 marking. Most of the numbers on the parts say 42 and the serial number is 7742. Can anyone give me some more information about this pistol, how can I research it in more detail?
