Default 1900 sideplate

Is a sideplate on a 1900 interchangeable with other models? Or more sepcifically, I have a 1900 sn 6303 with a sideplate that is commercially marked #22 that fits and works in a 1900 AE, no germany mark, etc.

I know what it states in the New Central Powers, that although in the commonlly held numbers of test luger 6100-7100, that it is not one of the numbers listed in the Bannerman sale.

My primary question is;

1. Would other sideplates work or is this most likely at least a 1900 sideplate?
