I'm Sorry to differ with other members of this forum, but the top half is correct for a 1920's C96 Red nine.
You'll notice the barrel has been cut down to just under 4", machined down to accept the front site and barrel ring ( a Bolo barrel has a distictive muzzle somewhat like a P-08). The rear site has been removed and re machined to fit into a dovetail machined into the rear of the barrel extension.
Is it stamped 1920 anywhere ? My 1920 has what may be a Nazi proof on the rear grip frame above the stock slot. I'll have to look up that mark to see if it is in any of my books. Mine also does not have the WW1 Army acceptance marks, maybe due to being reissued to Police units ? Any unit marks on yours ? What's the bolt's serial number ? can you push it into battery ? If so, I would try new Springs. Thanks, Jim
