Evan and Don,
I think the SCH. R. is an incomplete and not to regulation marking for Scheissplatz (shooting range), which should be Sch.Pl. The R. probably desinates the town or location. This is the only plausible translation that I can come up with at the moment. These can be puzzling at times. Ron
