kunta, your G-Date grips may be just fine. The Germans didn't number the late G-Date grips from about the C-Block, maybe the D-Block on. You may find a few, but not many. The grip numbers appeared again in 1937, then grips were not numbered during the 1939 Code 42 Production. Again, you may find a few, but not many!! Your 41 byf grips shoud be numbered, but E/655 markings may be proper replacements!! Hope this helps!!
