When I took my S/42
http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/dc8rayspimpgun.JPG apart for the first time this weekend, I noticed some corrosion spots underneath the grips. Nothing real bad, but it's there. The spots are black and rough to the touch. My "natural" 1917 also has some spots on the side plate and barrel(I haven't taken it apart yet, there maybe some more elsewhere). I want to my kid to pass them along to his kids. What can I do to stop this and to keep it at bay. As always, thanks for all your help, everyone(Dok, I love this forum). Ray |
