Hello, Gents. A fella I know is looking for the value on a 42-code 1939 dated Luger. All matching serial numbers including the magazine. He hasn't broken it down, but for now we'll assume any internal numbers match as well. He also has a holster with it which still has a small tool in it.
I collect German rifles, so these pistols are a bit of a mystery to me. Is there anything special this guy should look for? Would the holster be numbered or connected with the gun in any other way? I'm hoping you fellas could steer me in a good direction as far as value goes. These are the only pictures I have: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
