Hi All,
I had an earlier question about rebluing which Ed provided some guidance as to what to look for. It appears that my first Luger has been reblued. Here is a link to pictures of the old girl: Luger Pictures The grips I believe are Stoeger. Can anyone help with the ID? The magazine is post war as it is marked with 2/1001. The AL mag bottom piece is stamped with the weapon's SN but the font does not match what is on the frame, so I assume this was done later. I have one other question. As shown in the bolt image it appears that the bolt is defective. There is a small slot does not appeared machined. If the bolt is bad, who do I contact on list for repair? Thanks for the help! Regards, Tim |
