IMHO the 7.65mmP is a faster, flater shooting round with more penetration than the 9mmP, but lack some stoping power, as it continues thru most objects. One reason that many manufactures still offer that caliber, is that it is an easy change over from 9mm for those countries (Italy, Mexico, etc) than do not allow "civilians" to own 9mm pistols. TH
