I was hoping that someone might know more about this unusual Luger variation. Which belongs to someone else.
Thanks Luger Information Serial # 6 : Frame, locking bolt (twice: 1 big, 1 small), side plate, magazine (also has the 1), receiver on side & top Front of grip frame - 11911 One marking on each side of receiver is pin punch stamped out. We see traces of the Vopo sunburst marking Crown over N on barrel & receiver Small 1 stamped on frame over trigger under the side plate Geladen on left of extractor "Gesichert" saftey marking Other parts unnumbered (& unground) This Luger came in in a shipment of 1000 guns we got out of East Germany in which there were many varied and interesting guns (all sold).
