Unknown Variation
1 Attachment(s)
I was hoping that someone might know more about this unusual Luger variation. Which belongs to someone else.
Thanks Luger Information Serial # 6 : Frame, locking bolt (twice: 1 big, 1 small), side plate, magazine (also has the 1), receiver on side & top Front of grip frame - 11911 One marking on each side of receiver is pin punch stamped out. We see traces of the Vopo sunburst marking Crown over N on barrel & receiver Small 1 stamped on frame over trigger under the side plate Geladen on left of extractor "Gesichert" saftey marking Other parts unnumbered (& unground) This Luger came in in a shipment of 1000 guns we got out of East Germany in which there were many varied and interesting guns (all sold). Well markings 97 |
Interesting, looks like it was cut for a police sear safety.

What is the serial number on the front of the frame? There is no stock lug, can you tell if it was originally manufactured this way, or was it ground off? Are there numbers stamped on the bottom edges of the takedown lever and the side plate?
