Any Mauser rifle fans ?

Ed, thanks for the kind words [img]smile.gif[/img] ! Mark, there is such a thing as too many Soviet-capture K98ks, ya know ! You should vary your collection...say with a lovely infantry-unit marked 1891 Loewe Gew88 or a 1937 lion-crested VZ-24 rifle from MY collection [img]wink.gif[/img] .....I've got a c/r ffl ya know...seriously, all the Russian capture 98ks I've seen have been very nice. I WILL get one. tac, been there/done that. My bolo broom cost me $395 and I spent $100 having it's shot-out bore relined...still, I love it and it usually draws more comments and compliments than does my P.O8 [img]confused.gif[/img] . I can't tell you how many local gun guys have never seen or even heard of the broomhandle Mauser ! When they ask the caliber and I say, ".30 Mauser.", they get a glazed look in their eyes.
