Senator Dole didn't have to resign but did so as he thought it would be a disservice to his constituents and fellow senators for him to neglect his job while campaigning.
Luke, I believe pretty John Edwards is still your senator as he did not resign. But his term will expire in January. Who will the democrats pick as their new minority leader next year? The whiner Daschel is also out. |
