Post 3 dumb questions...ahh newbie questions

Hi-

I acquired a 1936 S/42 (k-block). I assume the G-date were early a-f block or so and then they changed to the 1936-dated.

Q1. G- or 1936-dated. Is one more desirable than the other?

Q2. Where do I find approximate production figures for Mauser lugers?

Q3. What is total production of Mauser Lugers in 1936?
