3 dumb questions...ahh newbie questions
Hi-
I acquired a 1936 S/42 (k-block). I assume the G-date were early a-f block or so and then they changed to the 1936-dated. Q1. G- or 1936-dated. Is one more desirable than the other? Q2. Where do I find approximate production figures for Mauser lugers? Q3. What is total production of Mauser Lugers in 1936? |
Bob, G date production was about 55K. Ever year after that, including 1936 production was over 100K. Some production figures are listed by year in the luger section of the "Blue book of gun values". You'll have to dig for the rest. Tom H.

Start by placing your shovel in the fertile ground of Jan Still's "Third Reich Lugers".
