I agree with the above - a 1939 S/42 is worth just a bit less than a byf in my opinion. $1700-$2000 - depending on if all matching - if the 1939 has a matching magazine, then add a couple hundred (easy), byf lugers have bakelite bases and so technically easily 'matched'...
