thanks !!! for the added rear sight info

how did you machine the inset toggle area for the bottom side rear sight base ? usually these rear toggles are very hardened and resist typical machining efforts

how deep did you machine the base area into the toggle ? great idea I dont recall seeing anywhere else

I can see where the inset area for the base would help a lot to handle the rearward setback forces and apparently the bolt is high strength to handle the vertical setback when the rear toggle ears contact the frame - and apparently remaining toggle flat is thick enough to survive ok

maybe on your setup the toggle slap onto rear frame is mild or toggle stop occurs with the compressed spring ?

does your custom barrel weight require any handloading special ammo ?
