This would be so much easier if we could swap out firing pins face to face, however, I am unclear on the situation: Your initial post stated that you wanted the FP tip repaired but judging from your photo the tip appears intact. You also stated that the FP does protrude from the breech block, suggesting again that the tip is intact. How far does the tip protrude? Have you test fired a primed case? Is there damage to the FP tip that is not evident in the photo? As a reference my 1900 FP projects about .050" from breech block.
