Test firing would be a good idea because these pistols often have issues with proper function. Broken parts in a Stoeger .22 seem more difficult to replace than the imported counterpart, the Erma .22s, and even original Lugers. I've seen postings from a member who's looking for a spring for his. Don't figure on the Stoeger to be worth much more that $2-300 in the trade; way less if it does not work properly. One should be fun to shoot if it functions OK, accurate and economical. |
