Appears there are no provision for a hold-open. There would be a slot or groove machined just inside the right rail where the mag head comes up. Also a crosswise slot behind the mag recess. All those little numbers are staging numbers. What happens when someone is done with a piece. I don't know that anyone has ever cataloged them??? The one on the toggle, (last pic) is a proof mark. Should be the DWM eagle I think the dull silver finish is unpolished nickel or chrome, whichever. but the 'Senior Guys' will know more about 1911s. FN |
