The WalMarts in southern New Jersey don't sell guns or ammo and I don't believe that they ever did.
Here is a Wall Street Journal article on WalMarts decision to stop selling guns in certain stores. http://online.wsj.com/public/article...html?mod=blogs Here is another article from the New York Times. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/04/15/bu...erland&emc=rss It appears that the decision is made on supply and demand. If a store don't sell enough of a particular product they discontinue the product. This time the product is guns and ammo. The fact that WalMart paid over 14 Million in fines for gun law violations in the last three years doesn't help either. On a positive note maybe sales will increase at the mom and pop gun stores that are still in business. Some of them could really use the business, and I have not found a WalMart yet that had a gunsmith. Chris
