Default Firing Pin Spring Retainer stuck

The Firing Pin Spring Retainer is stuck in the Firing Pin assembly on my S/42.
It's the screw that is given a 1/4 turn to hold the spring compressed, although in my case the screw has not been turned, it's just stuck down in the collar about 1/16" deeper than it should be. It's probably a small burr or some dirt that's holding it. I don't want to damage it,
any advice on how to remove it safely?
Thanks!
Robert

Update.... was able to vibrate it out, found a small burr that probably caused the jam.
