yeah looks pretty good, ill get some cash together maybe come back here and see if anyone has somthing theyd sell, im not a FFL so im not sure how it works here, does it work like a show or flea market, can u just sell from one private person to another?

Assuming its legal in your state you can buy and sell firearms FTF (face to face) only requiring a state drivers license for identification. I've found some Lugers at gunshows for $500 to $800. Some were mismatched and some were very nice being sold by older folks who were feeling the financial pinch. Study the forum some and you will learn a lot about picking a nice one as well as the ones to avoid. I think you were fortunate not to buy the one at the flea market.
