Where is the best place to purchase replacement grips if one desires to store the original grips?

I ordered a set of the black P-38 grips from GunGrip (link above); they also have the Luger Walnut grips...
http://www.gungrip.com/detail_WC110__500.html ...and the left grip has the piece under the sideplate correctly formed...(it may not last, but it's there!)...

Got the P38 grips in the mail today...
Good news is that they will allow you to save/store your good OEM Bakelite grips away where they won't get damaged... ![]() Bad news...woo...where to start... ![]() They need a lot of fitting...the epoxy squeezed out the fill & vent holes (of the mold) and was not cleaned up/ground away properly...there are quite a few strange lines cast into the outer surface...from the parting agent maybe???...several boogers on the inside edges... Worst part - no grommets...and I don't feel like taking apart my old grips to get a set... ![]() But for the $$$, they're OK...I can make them work...just wrap some duct tape around them to hold them on... ![]() I may try ordering a set from the other place mentioned above...They sell grommets... ![]() Oh, yeah - The Ugly...that would be the inner surfaces...
