I got my luger home, it's a 1940 Mauser, and on the bottom of the barrel near the frame it is stamped PSE...I can't find anything in reference to it online, what have I got here?

pictures please
It could be almost anything or it could be an import marking - or if at bottom of barrel, are you sure they are letters or could it be something like 8,83? Ed |

Pictures would help, but this kind of mark and location could be typical of an import mark.

Hi Dr. Mauser!
It appears to me you have Luger re-barelled in Norway post-war. Pleae take a look at this topic, I inspected several guns marked this way: http://forum.lugerforum.com/showthread.php?t=32622 Best regards, Alexander |
